Can someone help me answer this

WORKPLACE SCENARIO: You are part of the Human Resources department in a company that has been dealing with computer breakdowns and technology issues for several months. Staff morale is at an all-time low. One staff member recently left the company under difficult circumstances due to the stress of attempting to cope with the outdated equipment. The company president has agreed to the purchase of new equipment.

A member of the Facilities and Administration team has written a memo to update the employees about the staff dismissal and to reassure everyone that the problems will be resolved.

As a senior member of the Human Resources team, you have been asked to review and assess the memo first. In addition, if needed you must change or adjust the content so that the message will be well received by staff.

INSTRUCTIONS:

READ the memo that is based on the above scenario.

DETERMINE if the original message from Sarah Connor contains all necessary information and has a positive emphasis by using PAIBOC to assess and critique the memo. Compose a well-developed paragraph that illustrates your prewriting assessment and critiques Sarah Connor’s memo. In other words, briefly discuss the audience, circumstances, communication objectives, content, and delivery of the memo. Did Sarah Connor do a good job with her original memo, or do some edits and changes need to be made? Consider what elements are effective or ineffective in her message.  The complete PAIBOC Questions are located on Blackboard in the WEEK 2 folder.  (8 points)

an improved memo. Rewrite the message using your own words, maintaining a positive emphasis and a professional tone. Use your judgment to include information that you think is important to address from the original scenario. (12 points)

MEMO FROM SARAH CONNOR (ASSESS AND REWRITE)

Date:                Monday, January 16th, 2023
From:               Sarah Connor, Human Resources
To:                    Skynette Personnel Department Employees
Subject:           Coping tactics for technical failures

This is a reminder that computer problems should be reported to Henry Ibsen immediately, and that snide remarks and aggressive tempers in the workplace will not be tolerated.

You may have all heard that a Skynette Personnel employee was recently fired because of inappropriate outburst after an equipment failure. This unacceptable act of aggression resulted in a damaged printer and screen as well as the former employee being escorted off the premises by building security. In addition to this difficult situation, multiple complaints have been lodged with Human Resources by employees with poor attitudes in dealing with the intranet issues. While we understand the interruptions to work projects and setbacks to project timelines are frustrating, we would like to remind everyone that this is a professional environment. It is vital to maintain an atmosphere of respect and trust, and this can only happen if we bring our best selves to work. This has not been the case for some time. Hostile behaviour is a form of workplace terrorism that holds us all hostage. There are many ways to combat rising tempers. Walks around the building are a good tactic for calming down.

Please respect the equipment. Computers should be turned off at night, and food or drink products should not be situated near any machinery. We are replacing the equipment. CompuTech tells us our shipment is on backorder and will be filled as soon as possible.

Technology glitches are commonplace. Let’s all make an effort to behave like adults in the future.

2. PAIBOC analysis for the written memo. Did Sarah Connor do a good job with her original memo, or do changes need to be made? Using the PAIBOC Assessment tool to analyze workplace writing, note the effective and ineffective components of the memo.

3. Memo based on the scenario. Include a specific subject line. Consider the elements of PAIBOC to assist in composing an effective, professional memo that will address employee concerns with a positive tone, emphasize benefits and promote professionalism in the workplace.
