Supporting children’s healthy development and learning and informing program planning. How will you adopt the role of an early childhood program director and outline your program’s data assessment plan. 

Your plan include the following:

A brief description of child and program assessment strategies used within your program.  In your description, include the name of the assessment tool and the kinds of data obtained.
Strategies used to ensure assessment data is utilized in culturally, linguistically, and individually responsive ways that support children’s development of learning and program quality, including:
How often will data be collected?
How will data be disaggregated (children with IFSP/IEPs, English learners/multilingual learners, age span, gender, race, etc.), and the rationale for disaggregation strategies?
How will data be used for continuous improvement?
How is the use of assessment data responsive to legal and ethical mandates?

Plan may be developed based on components of your present place of employment or based on practices included in a program of your creation.

The following information highlights required components for your Data Assessment Plan. The plan is for a program that serves children between the ages of 6 weeks and five years of age. The data assessment plan respond to each of the prompts provided.

 

Part One:  Data Collection and Use

Part Two:  Data Use Policy

 

Based on each of the following required components develop a data use policy. This policy should be specific and identify legal and ethical requirements to stakeholders and how each requirement will be met within the program. Following policy development, provide a list of key stakeholders for which this information is relevant and how this information will be shared.
