Secondly, another image depicted is nature, the setting in which the persona is saying, “A host of golden daffodils…”. The poet describes nature as well as the people that he/she sees while he/she is wandering around it. Thirdly, the sky, “Continuous as the stars that shine…”. The poet’s admiration of the skies is evident in this line, “as the stars continuously to shine and twinkle,” and even mentions the Milky Way, hence, an admirer of what lies beyond the skies. Fourthly, the characteristics of the sea could be deciphered in the third stanza, “The waves beside them danced; but they out-did the sparkling waves in glee…”. The admiration of the skies continued as the persona compared the sky and the sea. Although the waves of the sea were sparkling, the stars seemed to catch the admiration of the persona still. Lastly, the fourth stanza depicts contentment, “when on my couch I lie… is the bliss of solitude…”. Although the persona is lonely, he/she embraces the bliss of solitude, which means happiness in loneliness. This could mean that even though it is good to socialize among people, the persona is trying to say to the readers that being in the state of solitude is never wrong but a time just to observe and have a peaceful moment with the self. Image transcription textThe following chart indicates the areas of achievement that will be the focus of this assignment.Imagery/Symbolism Comments and Verbal-Visual Collage Categories Level 1 Level 2 Level 3 Level 4 (50 – 59%)(60 – 69% (70 – 79%) (80 – 100% Knowledge/ -response and -response and collage -response and -re… Show more… Show more Arts & HumanitiesEnglish
