We have read and discussed non-fiction writings during the semester which brings us to the next step of research. Please see below:
Trace the argument in all questions below and develop a clear and coherent research paper as per instructions and the attached rubric. Do not include any sub-titles and questions.
Please note the research questions below are based on the United States only.
Has the existence of “Pain Clinics” contributed to opioid addiction in the United States?
What is the current status of “Pain Clinics?” Are they still in existence and are there any regulations placed on them in the United States?
Explain your answers clearly by building a firm foundation and a clear thesis. Yes and No answers will not earn any credit.
Instructions for successful completion of this assignment:
This research paper should be your own ORIGINAL work.
Include a minimum of four (4) scholarly sources. Out of these minimum 4 (scholarly sources), two sources must be current (2013 – 2023).
Only scholarly sources should be included in your paper. Newspapers and magazines cannot be included.
Your submission should not exceed SIX pages (excluding bibliography- works cited per MLA).
Your submission should not be less than FOUR complete pages (excluding bibliography – works cited per MLA).
The research paper should be typed using the on standard 8/12 X 11-inch white paper only – 12-point font.
Include a well-developed introduction, clear, coherent body paragraphs, and a well-developed conclusion.
Use third-person voice only.
Include your scholarly sources in the body of your research paper. Your bibliography (works cited) must consist of ONLY those sources which have been included in the body of your research paper.
Do not include any diagrams, photographs, images, or illustrations of any kind in the pages allocated for research writing.
Your final research paper cannot include the same or similar content as any of your graded assignments including Essay I, journal entry, any of the assigned discussion boards, and final presentation & webinar. Any similarity with any of these assignments will lead to a failing grade on this assignment.
