1.”As a child, writing was a form of expression for me. I vividly remember the joy I felt when I wrote short poems and my teachers and parents read them. I also remember the frustration of trying to put complex thoughts and feelings into words, and I still face that challenge. In my current college life, writing is an important means of communication. I use it to communicate my understanding of concepts and argue my point. In my personal life, I write letters to friends and family, and write to express my thoughts and feelings. In my job, I use writing to communicate with colleagues, draft reports and proposals, and document my work. I believe that writing will play an even more important role in my academic, personal and professional life in the future. I will continue to use writing as a tool for self-expression and reflection. Professionally, I want to use writing to communicate effectively with create proposals and document my work in a clear and concise manner. I believe that by sharing our experiences and perspectives, we can all become better writers and communicators.”
After reading what you wrote there I can tell you are a great writer! The way you put your sentences together and told what you were wanting to tell was very good. Kept me interested in your story. I used free writing as a child also to express feelings during tough times. I would put things on paper as a way of getting it out. I had many journals full of writing. Good luck in this class, I can tell you are going to do great!

Your comment about sharing our pasts and point of view is also spot on! I learn best when hearing a personal experience vs. trusting what “could happen” or “might happen”. The idea that we will all develop stronger writing and communication skills is also a good point, we are stronger together and will succeed.
