Step 2: Once on the site, profiles (pay attention to the About/Summary section and what the editor says stands out about them).

Step 3:  Identify two or three elements that you believe enhance the digital professional presence of this profile.

Step 4: Initial Post due Wednesday: Make a discussion post to analyze your chosen student profile, by responding to the following questions.

What is one profile that stands out to you?
Is it something about the background picture, headshot, or headline that make it special?
Does the summary in the About section stand out?
Consider the profession of the profile you are examining. How would different professions affect the content or display of a profile? For example, how might a nurse’s profile be different from a teacher’s, and again from an executive, or a small business owner?
What is something in this profile you may want to reference or adopt when creating your own professional bio?

completing your LinkedIn Network Reflection assignment:

Step 1: Find 4-5 people with whom to connect on LinkedIn. If you choose your high school volleyball coach because she also works with a non-profit in an area that interests you, bravo! You’ve got it.

Step 2: Write a short reflection piece (no more than 200 words) about how the 4-5 people with whom you connected on LinkedIn reflect professionalism.
