ELLIAS’S FATHER: Come on, let’s go. Up to the cubby house. What have you got – an apple?

ELLIAS: [BABBLING]

ELLIAS’S FATHER: You want a hand? 

ELLIAS: Mhmm.

[SOUND OF PAPER CRUNCHING]

ELLIAS’S FATHER: What are we going to do?

ELLIAS: [BABBLING] … when Mum gets home!

ELLIAS’S FATHER: What are we going to do when Mum gets home?

ELLIAS: [INAUDIBLE, SHOUTING]

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Lots of stuff?

ELLIAS: Yes! [BABBLING] … and bounce on trampoline, and then … [BABBLING] Mushrooms!

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Mushrooms? Wow.

ELLIAS: [BABBLING] Some of them are too dirty!

ELLIAS’S FATHER:  Yeah, some of them are dirty.

ELLIAS: [BABBLING] … you have mushrooms?

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Yeah, I like mushrooms.

ELLIAS: Me have mushrooms [BABBLING].

[DOG BARKING IN BACKGROUND]

ELLIAS’S FATHER: How many dogs do you have?

ELLIAS: Um … two. We have two, Daddy.

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Okay.

ELLIAS: [INAUDIBLE] … over there.

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Is there?

ELLIAS: Yes [BABBLING].

ELLIAS’S FATHER:  What are you going to do first? Are you going to go down the slide or are we going to go inside?

ELLIAS: Go on the trampoline.

ELLIAS’S FATHER: We’re going to go on the trampoline?

ELLIAS: Yes … No! We’re going slide!

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Okay.

ELLIAS: [BABBLING] Daddy …

ELLIAS’S FATHER:  Can I go down?

ELLIAS: Yes.

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Are you going to hold this?

ELLIAS: Okay.

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Is it a good one?

ELLIAS: Mhmm.

ELLIAS’S FATHER: We go inside?

ELLIAS: No. Let me do [INAUDIBLE]. Hold this.

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Sure can.

ELLIAS: I want bounce on trampoline!

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Let’s see what’s in here.

ELLIAS: Yes. A mess!

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Toys everywhere.

ELLIAS: Yes. Toys everywhere [BABBLING].

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Cook me some toast?

ELLIAS: [BABBLING]

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Oh, look, there it is there.

ELLIAS: Yes [BABBLING]. Daddy [BABBLING]. Broke.

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Oh, it’s broken, is it? What’s in the fridge? What’s the fridge?

ELLIAS: Nothing!

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Nothing?

ELLIAS: Nothing! [BABBLING] Want pizza?

[SOUND OF BEEPING]

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Oh, what are you cooking?

ELLIAS: Pizza!

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Pizza!

ELLIAS: You need to sit outside.

ELLIAS’S FATHER: I need to sit outside?

ELLIAS: Yes!

ELLIAS’S FATHER: And wait for my pizza?

ELLIAS: Yes!

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Okay, you tell me when it’s ready.

ELLIAS: Okay.

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Do you get me a seat?

ELLIAS: Yes [BABBLING].

ELLIAS’S FATHER: How long until my pizza’s ready?

ELLIAS: Done!

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Oh, it’s done now!

ELLIAS: No! You’re not … ! [YELLING INAUDIBLY]

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Oh, I’m not allowed in your kitchen?

ELLIAS: No!

ELLIAS’S FATHER: Okay, I’m sorry.
