I need help with my answer

Dear [wife]

I apologize for how long it has taken for me to return home and for not sending any letters recently, for I have been lost at sea for a long time. I have spent all of these years thinking of you, and our son. I recently made it to Scheria, where I now sit writing this to you. This is my first time visiting Scheria, and I’m very eager to tell you all about the Phaeacians’ xenia (hospitality) while I’m here. Even when “The Phaeacians exhibit a tentative attitude towards the demonstration of xenia, showing a slightly xenophobic tendency and keeping a social distance from strangers”  The king has agreed to help me sail back home. Phaeacians are cautious and reserved when it comes to interacting with strangers. All in all, the Phaeacians’ attitude towards xenia is indicative of the complex nature of this concept, as well as the diverse ways in which it can be experienced. This complexity is further highlighted by the fact that the Phaeacians’ skepticism towards foreigners does not prevent them from extending hospitality to them. I am glad because they will help me leave so I should be back to see you soon!

With hopes of seeing you soon, best wishes
