Proposed Solution
Based on my assessment of the problem at Green Hill, with the research and available
models I have identified that the solution would be to integrate new software technologies into

the workflow for maximum efficiency. My recommendation is to consider purchasing the
software Procare Solutions. Procare is the number one name in childcare management software
(“Procare Select”). One of the elements of the software is to manage family and child
information in its database. Its recordkeeping features include parent & child information
tracking, emergency contacts & authorized pickup information, enrollment tracking, daycare
scheduling, child-staff ratios, immunization tracking & alerts, electronic document storage, log
notes, integrating texting (messages to parents), import images of children/parent/authorized
pickups, store forms and reports of roll call sheets, classroom directories and more (“Procare
Select”). Its billing/accounting features include processing recurring tuition fees, financial
history for family accounts, tracking deposits, posting late fees, providing account activity
reports, tax statements, revenue & income reports and more. It also provides staff information
tracking from their immunization, vacation, training records to electronic document storage. Not
only does the software take care of all these internal business operations but it also takes control
of parent engagement which is what keeps the business running.
Procare Solutions parent engagement features include keeping track of students’
attendance, tracking in class activities & development milestones through videos, photos or
comments, communicating with parents directly through the daycare app. All of these features
provide reassurance on safety and security. Along with purchasing software, technological
devices such as iPad and laptops are essential for all caregivers to store data.
Another cloud computing component the organization can incorporate are social media
platforms such as Instagram, Twitter or Facebook to build a trustworthy & reliable brand
personality through marketing the facility to potential clients. Green Hill could share images,
videos and deliver messages to stay connected with previous and current clients. Another

component that would be beneficial is using applications such as slack for all caregivers to
communicate regarding bonding events, curriculum ideas and important information outside of
working hours.
