Prior to submitting this assignment, make sure you have completed the associated Learning Activities and Practices Exercises in the module.
In this module, you will submit your final research poster that was inspired by your topic of choice related to the course theme: food.
This project incorporates the critical thinking and research writing skills you have practiced and refined over the semester and builds on all of the various assignments you have completed thus far.
Please note: you will be using the software Canva and are encouraged to review the Canva Design School Tutorials and this Canva Poster tutorial (Time: 10:45; closed captions available) before beginning your poster.
Poster Requirements
The structure of the poster should be decided upon by the you; however, you must at a minimum include the following in your poster:
Effective introduction to your topic
Organized material: Effective, interesting; use of standard grammar and usage
Prevalence: How common is this issue?
Resources: Credible, peer-reviewed, academic references
Multimedia: Include relevant video, audio, imagery, etc.
Conclusion: Ending idea
Works Cited: Alphabetical MLA style
Within these areas outlined above, you must incorporate your research thesis, topic sentences, direct quotes/paraphrases documented with parenthetical citations, and images.

Submitting your Poster Project
Pease download your poster from Canva as pdf file. To do this, click the ellipsis (…) button in the upper right corner of the screen, select the Download option, select PDF Print, and click Download. Name the file as LastnamePoster, where “Lastname” is your last name (i.e. JohnsonM8-Poster.docx).

Locate your downloaded poster (.pdf) on your computer and attach it in the assignment submission area by the listed due date.
This assignment is worth 150 points and will be evaluated using the ENG 102 Course Project Research Poster Rubric, which is available on the submission page.
